Return and Refund Policy

At STOTRA, we strive to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, we offer a clear and transparent refund policy to ensure your shopping experience remains seamless. For this, it is essential that we receive the sold merchandise within 10 days from the delivery date.

Before you return a product purchased from STOTRA, please take a moment to understand how our products are made. All our products are handcrafted by traditional craft persons in rural India, resulting in each product being unique and slightly different from each other. There can be slight variation in the colours since exact reproduction of the colours of the product cannot be done and the colours differ from every mobile / tablet / laptop screen.

All of our Embroidered products are handmade, so there can be slight irregular weaves in the base fabric or print stains or a missing stitch which is part of the beauty and uniqueness of the handcrafted product.

Eligibility for Return and Refunds:

  • Damaged or Defective Products: If the product you receive is damaged or has manufacturing defects, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • Incorrect Products: If the product delivered is different from the one you ordered, you can request a refund or replacement.
  • Size Issues: If the product does not fit well, you can request a return and refund or replacement.
  • Payment:If exchanging for an item of higher value, the difference in amount must be paid; if the item is of lower value, the difference will be refunded in the form of a credit note.  Cash on delivery is not available for these orders.
  • Restrictions:Once an order is exchanged, customers cannot request another exchange. If a customer still wishes to return the exchanged item, only a credit note will be issued.
  • Delivery: Exchange/replacement items will be delivered to the same address as the original order.
  • Time Frame: To be eligible for a refund, you must raise a refund request within 10 days from the date of delivery.
  • Original Condition: Return of the products shall be accepted only if the product is unused, unwashed, and is in a saleable condition. The products must be returned in its original packaging with all tags attached.

How to Request a Refund?

Email us at support@stotraapparels.com or Whatsapp on (+91) 9674954528 with your order details, including the order number and a description of the issue.

Once your request is approved, we will arrange for a return or exchange.

Upon receiving the returned product, we will inspect it and process the refund.

Refund Process:

Step 1: Once the returned product is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Step 2: If approved, your refund will be processed within 3 days of the approval of refund, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 10 working days depending upon the mode of payment.

Step 3: Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received your refund within the specified time frame, first check with your bank or credit card company. If you’ve done all this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@stotraapparels.com

Return / Exchange / Refund Guidelines

  • If you receive goods in damaged condition, kindly email us at support@stotraapparels.com with a video of opening the package of the damaged or wrong item and photos of the same with the labels and tags intact.
  • Please ensure your email includes the product name, order ID, a detailed description of the issue, and accompanying photos and videos in cases of damage or manufacturing defects.
  • Refunds are not available for products purchased through the COD method. Instead, store credit will be issued.
  • Self-ship – Kindly send your return or exchange order to the shipping address provided to you via email. Please note that the shipping cost will be your responsibility.
  • Please be noted that only in case of a manufacturing defect (if any) of the product, we will arrange a pickup for you (reverse pick-up may not be available on selected PINCODES). For all other cases, exchanges and returns will only be processed once you have shipped the product back to us.
  • Any order which is undelivered due to any issues from the customer’s end, are inapplicable for Refund. Hence, its requested to not place any refund request, in case of non-delivery of products wherein the customer was unreachable/out of station/has provided incorrect shipping information/didn’t accept the delivery or any such issues which arise from customer side.
  • Products bought during sales are non-refundable but can be exchanged.
  • Requests for size changes will be processed as exchanges initially. If an alternative size is unavailable, a refund will be issued as store credit for COD payments or a direct refund for debit/credit card/UPI transactions.
  • For international orders, after the approval of the request, the customer shall be asked to ship the products to Kolkata, India. The return address shall be confirmed via email. Rest of the refund or exchange criteria remains same. In case of exchange the shipping, charges are to be borne once again by the customer. In case of refund shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • The customer shall be solely responsible for the safe return of the product to be eligible for a refund, and we will not be liable for any loss or damage that occurs during transit from the customer to STOTRA.
